I. Core Principles: Making Ancient Wisdom Speak Modern Language
Through hundreds of exchanges nationwide, I have consistently adhered to three core principles of transformation, which may be the key to the deep resonance of my training:
From "Mystical Terminology" to "Perceptible Phenomena"
I avoid obscure formulas and instead translate them into language familiar to modern people. For example, "煞气" (sha qi) might be described as "a sharp, chaotic, and dark spatial visual or physical form that induces subconscious tension and discomfort." The solution is to create a "safe, orderly, and bright" sensory experience by adjusting the layout, lighting, and materials. Feng shui is, first and foremost, a keen insight into environmental perception.
From "Fixed Rules" to "Dynamic Balance"
I repeatedly emphasize that there is no one-size-fits-all template. In training, I demonstrate the differentiated application of the same principles in different regions and with different apartment types. The core is mastering the two principles of "balance" and "flow." Just as designing cave dwellings in Shanxi and glass curtain wall buildings in Shenzhen involves the same methodology, the solutions are drastically different. Feng shui is a living ecology, not a dead textbook.
From "Seeking External Help" to "Internal Awareness"
The highest level of training guides participants from simply seeking "master layouts" to cultivating their own spatial awareness. I will lead everyone in an exercise: walk into a room and feel where you feel relaxed and where you feel agitated. Your body is your initial feng shui compass. Empowering people to become the masters of their own living environment is a more precious gift than any specific layout.
II. Echoes of Wisdom: Inspiration from Participants
The value of training is always two-way. The inspiration I have gained from countless participants is equally rich:
An architect in Xi'an incorporated the feng shui concept of "gathering and retaining qi" into the design of a senior living community, winning a national award.
An e-commerce entrepreneur in Guangzhou, by learning the concept of "Ming Tang" (bright hall), completely reorganized the background and camera logic of his live-streaming room, significantly improving traffic conversion.
A community worker in Hangzhou used the simplest principles of "cleanliness and brightness" to help renovate the corridors of an old residential building, unexpectedly resolving years of neighborly grievances.
These stories have convinced me that the spark of Feng Shui wisdom, once properly ignited, can shine with a warm and practical light across countless modern fields. It concerns business efficiency, but even more so, quality of life; it studies spatial layout, ultimately pointing to the harmonious coexistence of people and the environment.
